black pepper cheddar scallion beer bread

Attn: winners of giveaway: still need to hear from 3 of y'all! Scroll down for instructions!(past stir fry) I had fun taking pictures of this baby! I wish I could print out scratch n sniff photos....
I tweaked a recipe from Here's how:
3 cups shifted flour (YOU HAVE TO SHIFT! IT WILL BE A BRICK IF NOT!)
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4c sugar
fresh ground black pepper... 2 tsps or so...
1 chopped scallion (green part, too)
1/2 c shredded cheese
1 can of bud... (or any beer...just not flat)
1/4 cup melted butter- keep separate*
mix all (except butter) GENTLY by hand
place in a loaf pan and * top with the melted butter. Bake @ 375 for one hour. mmmmmm

man... I had a nice time with Mr. Pentax...

Mmmm crusty cheesy...

Goes great with a nice cold beer. Hahahahaha! Enjoy guys!

This looks wonderful! Question: do you sift the flour before measuring your 3 cups or do you measure 3 cups and then sift? Hmmmmm?

I spooned it into my measuring cup, then shifted!
